He was predeceased by: his parents, Orazio Fichera and Concetta Fichera (Crimi); his wife Janet Fichera; and his brothers, Alfio and Frank Fichera.
He is survived by: his children, John Fichera (Sarah) of Derry, Constance Fichera of Wayne, NJ and Nancy Garcia (Michael) of Derry. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and also many nieces and nephews.
