It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald F. Thayer Jr. of Derry, New Hampshire, born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. Thayer and Helen L. Thayer (Jeff); his close friend Marjorie; his former wife Marjorie E. (Gilbert); and his daughter-in-law Megan L. Thayer.
He is survived by: his fiancée Pauline "Polly" Tomer (Shattuck); his sons, Douglas G. Thayer (Jane) of Wakefield, MA, Brian J. Thayer (Martha) of Litchfield, NH and Stephen D. Thayer (Jean) of Salem, NH.; his grandchildren, Candice Morse, Mark Thayer, Laura Tetrault, Elizabeth Thayer, Alison Thayer, Emily Thayer and Katelyn Thayer; and his great grandchildren, Eden Morse, Evan Morse, Clara Tetrault and Bobby Thayer.
