He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm O'Neil and Mildred O'Neil (Lannon); his daughter Jennifer Markee; and his siblings, Nancy Wright and Robert O'Neil.

He is survived by: his wife Helena O'Neil (Pierga); his son Christopher O'Neil (Kayla); his son-in-law Erich Markee (Julie) of Newton, NH; his grandchildren, Anya, Casey O'Neil, Kingston, Alayna, Lily Markee of Newton, NH and Erich Markee of Georgetown; his brother John O'Neil (Marilyn); his sister-in-law Kathy O'Neil of Peabody; and his sibling's children, Shannon O'Neil of Peabody, Courtney Trahant (Jamie) of Peabody, Jake O'Neil of Lynn, Lisa Wortman (Glen) of Lynn and Colleen Dowgas of Lynn. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
