She was predeceased by: her aunt Margaret Cantwell; and her sister Fran Mitchell. She is survived by: her parents, Thomas Cantwell and Elizabeth Cantwell; her husband John M. Fernandes; her children, Katherine Tuck, Mary Ellen, John "Jay", Stephen Fernandes, Chris Fernandes and Michael Fernandes; her grandchildren, Melissa Gamirov, Jeremy Tuck, Jacob Cail, Emily Cail, Zoe Cail, Hannah Fernandes, Abby Gates, Maggie Fernandes, Shaun Fernandes, Wyatt Fernandes, Eli Fernandes, Georgia Fernandes and Quinn Fernandes; her close friend Jaye Aither; and also, David Cail, Karen Fernandes, Lisa Fernandes and Christian Fernandes. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
