He was predeceased by: his parent Frank H.; and his brothers, Burton "Archie", Robert, Porter, Jessie and Jonnie Atwell.
He is survived by: his parent Annie Atwell (Grub); his wife Cindi Atwell (Welch); his children, Cathy Vera, Peggy Atwell, Robin Atwell, William Atwell, Stacy Gravel, Sherry Greeley, Tia Routhier, Rolando Quintana and Jessica Atwell; and his sisters, Bertha, Jane and Peggy.
