He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Wertheimer Scharff and Minette Switzer Scharff; his wife Edwina K. Scharff; his sons, Peter B. Scharff and Stuart M. Scharff; his grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher, Emily and Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Annabel and Caleb; and also, Janet R. Scharff and Jodi B. Scharff.
