He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Valade and Eunice Valade; and his brother Albert Valade (Barbara Valade). He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Williams Valade; his wife Michelle Cormier; his sons, Mark, Chris (Sarah) and Eric; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Ellen Valade; his grandchildren, Madison and Dylan; and his sister-in-law Joanne Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Peters name.
