He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Otto Carl Schur and Alice Schur (Cole); his wife Janet Schur; his son Mark Schur; and his siblings, Carl, PeeWee, Peachy, Edna, Julia, Alice and Helen.
He is survived by: his son Bob Schur; his close friend Kerrie Gould-Solberg; his daughter Diane; his children-in-law, Chris Jackson and Jessie Schur; his grandchildren, Heather Jackson (Wattie Watkins), Rebecca Jackson Giannini (John), Bob Jackson (Lydia Hill), Chris Jackson (Devon Boyd), Mark Bryan and Jen Schur (Kenneth Baillargeon); and his great grandchild Kenny Baillargeon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
