It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Huysmans Jr. of Gilford, New Hampshire, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gerard Huysmans, Sr. and Lucille Huysmans (Terlizzi) of Medford, MA.; and his wife Carole Huysmans. He is survived by: his children, Joël Freeman (Lee) of Woodstock, NH, John G. Huysmans III (Kerri Ebright) of Alton, NH, Jill Labonte (Mark) of Hill, NH and Leonard Huysmans (Michelle Dion) of Belmont, NH.; his granddaughters, Alicia Huysmans of Ashland, NH, Sarah Freeman (Matthew Boyle) of Newport, NH and Caroline Freeman of Woodstock, NH; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor and Claire Boyle of Newport, NH..
