He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy N. Leather and Fern O. Leather (Freeman); his brother Charles; and his former wife Barbara Kellar. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Knights; his sons, Raymond F. Leather (Jane) of Venice, FL, Robert N. Leather (Lilian) of Pearl City, FL and Richard S. Leather of Sandown, NH; and his sister Janet O'Soro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
