He is survived by: his children, Wayne Simmons (Anne) of Maricopa, AZ and Ann Nerney (Scott) of Candia; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew Nerney and Josh Simmons of Madison, WI; his sister Flora Bowden; and his nephew Lou Wellington.
