He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Jean Gates; his son James Wilkins of Littleton; his father Larry Gates of Concord; and his siblings, Bill Gates (Carla) of Amherst, Randall Gates (Lou McLaren) of North Ferrisburgh and Reana Nice of Telford. He was also cherished by two nieces, two nephews, one grand-niece and one grand-nephew.
