He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wittenauer and Zelda Wittenauer (Thibodeau); and his brother Frank Wittenauer. He is survived by: his wife Janet Wittenauer (Ringer) of Lancaster; his sons, William J. Evjen (Tuija) of St. Charles, MO and George M. Evjen of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Sofia, Henri, Kalle, Camden and Tyler; and his siblings, Donald Wittenauer of Suffolk, VA, Walter Wittenauer of Beech Island, SC, Francine Kendall of Louisville, KY and Grace Gill of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
