She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard A. Welch and Marion B. Welch; and her son-in-law Richard E. Brown (Rich) of Buffalo, NY.. She is survived by: her husband James L. Ashmore Jr.; her children, Scott A. (Eileen Chaisson), James L. Ashmore III (Lisa), Popenga, Pamela Steffen (Brian Bernier) and Jodi L. Brown; her grandchildren, Danielle M. T. Pratts, James L. Ashmore IV and Charlotte C. Ashmore; her brother Duane B. Welch (Yvette Welch); and also, Waylon J. and Levi H. Mejak.
In lieu of flowers, Dee asked that friends and family consider making a donation to the Oncology Department at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH.
