He is survived by: his wife Lynne Tarr (Weaver); his daughter Deborah Tarr (Steve); his grandchildren, Darby and Jimmy; his son Steven Tarr (Andrea); his grandchildren, Jake and Kate; his son James Tarr; his grandchildren, Madylin and Jaysyn; his stepdaughter Kathryn Raymond (Tim); his stepgrandchildren, Trent and Gage; his sister Nancy Tarr (Allard); and his nieces, Wendy and Cindy Allard.
Memorial donations in David's name may be made to The Gary Sinise Foundation whose mission is to "Serve our Nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need.".
