He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Konstantinos Benelas and Maria Benelas (Koustas); his stepmother Penelope Benelas; his wife Irene Koustas (Agoritsas); his children, Charles (Gail) of Tyngsboro, Maria of Manchester, Michael (Effie) and His; his grandchildren, Dr. Dmitri Koustas (Yukiko Asai) of Chicago, IL, Ariana (Eugenios Arfanakis) of Tyngsboro, Charles (CJ), Michael (Mikey) and Alexianna Koustas of Bedford; his great grandchildren, Constantine and Evie Arfanakis of Tyngsboro; and his sisters, Vasiliki Xanthopoulos and Marigoula Tzellas.
