She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Vernon Leighton; her children, John Reed (Lynn) of Hooksett, Michelle Cormier (Paul Jr.) and Christina Pare of Manchester; her stepdaughter Michelle Leighton of Manchester; her grandchildren, Sara of Jessica, Paul III, Jillyin, Kayleigh and Olivia; and her siblings, Wallace "Wally" Spears, Jr. of Manchester, Gary Spears of Manchester, Donna Spears of Manchester, Tammy Spears of Manchester, Jennifer Hubbell of Northfield and Colleen Spears. She was also cherished by nephews, nieces and cousins.
