She was predeceased by: her parents, Hormidas Poirier and Fabiola Poirier (Ducharme); her husband Walter Petriw; and her siblings, Claire Lavoie, Georgette Huard, Lucille Austin, Simone Auger and Henry Poirier.
She is survived by: her sister Gertrude Lemay.
