She was predeceased by: her former husband John E. Scribner Sr.; her son John E. Scribner Jr.; and her siblings, Sandra Martel and Aaron Ross. She is survived by: her parents, Vera Ross (Place) and Gordon L. Ross; her husband Gary Cole; and her children, Kathleen Sutphen, Joyce Kathan and Keith Scribner. She is also survived by stepchildren, brothers, sisters, many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
