He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Demers (Desmarais). He is survived by: his parents, Ernest Demers and Ida Demers (Gauthier); his sister Pauline Nickerson (Jon) of Moultonborough; and his sister-in-law Judith Bureau of Manchester.

Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
