She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Dietz and Bessie Dietz (Nye); her grandmother Nye; her husband Joseph "Gus" Gazda; her daughters, Lynne Marie and Lynne Brecknock (Gazda); her son-in-law Bob Brecknock; her sisters, Ilene Hoitt (Dietz) and Barbara Moore (Dietz); her granddaughter Sarah Brecknock; her great grandchildren, Miles and Maddox Messier; her granddaughter Audrey Bourque (Brecknock); her grandson-in-law Justin Bourque; her great grandchildren, Austin and Evelyn Bourque; and her grandson Paul Brecknock. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Anthony's Food Pantry at Blessed Sacrament Parish, whose work to support community members in need was close to Shirley's heart.
