He is survived by: his brothers, Donald Thompson of Tilton, NH, Richard Thompson and Andrew Thompson; his children, George Thompson, Margie Thompson of Newton, NH, Ken Thompson, Anne Thompson of Bellingham, MA, Ruthann Montgomery and Paul Montgomery of Wallingford, CT.; his grandchildren, Shannon Murphy, Shawn Murphy, Jake Thompson, Kate Thompson, Jason, Ryan, Caroline, Kevin Thompson, Kyle Montgomery and Maryanne Montgomery; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Keigan, Jacinta, Adeline and Quinn.
In recognition of his proud service in the U.S. Army during WWII donations in his name can be made to the DAV Disabled American Veterans Charity.
