It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara H. Savoia of Nashua, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carter and Helen Carter (Papkey); her husband Benjamin Savoia; and her daughter Cynthia Hansen. She is survived by: her children, Debra (Normand Lavigne) of Manchester and David Savoia (Margaret); her son-in-law Cort Hansen of North Conway; her grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristy Lavigne, Audrey Hansen, Joseph Savoia (Ilana), Nicholas Savoia, Kristjana Bacaj and Matthew Savoia; and her great grandchild Bennett Savoia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematory - Nashua (26 Kinsley St, Nashua, NH 03060). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home (26 Kinsley St, Nashua, NH 03060). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barbara's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
