With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald James Mitchell of New London, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 12, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald James Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Sheila F. Mitchell (McCabe); and his brothers, Robert and William. He is survived by : his children, Donald J. "DJ" Mitchell, Jr. of Harrisonburg, VA, Peter W. Mitchell (Denise) of Newbury, NH and Julie F. Mitchell (Keith Rendall) of Wiscasset, ME. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his memory to the Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice Care, whose kindness and support at every stage has been nothing short of phenomenal.
