He was predeceased by: his son David Alan. He is survived by: his spouses, Sandra Jean Columbo of Barre and Patricia Mapes Nelson; his children, Stephen Michael Nelson of Vonore, Leigh Nelson Eddy (Mike) of Riverside and Elizabeth Morgan of Burlington; his stepsons, Stephen Joseph Needle of Northfield, Lawrence Allen Needle of Portland and Gregory Lloyd Needle; and also, Ruth, Clifford of Burlington, Sherry of Northfield, Marisol of Portland and Melanie. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Friends of the Kreitzberg Library at Norwich University, 158 Harmon Drive, Northfield, VT 05663.
