She was predeceased by : her husband Steve; and her brothers, Richard Ruel and Roland Ruel. She is survived by : her children, Bonnie M. Beal (Harold) and James P. Chase (Dale); her grandchildren, Stephen, Stacey, Amanda, Andee and Derrick; and her siblings, Paul Ruel (Bob), George Ruel (Jackie), Norman Ruel (Theresa) and Lorraine Bennett (Richard). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris's name to Hyder Family Hospice House.
