McLaughlin (Schofield); his daughters, Karen L. Fredette (Christopher) of Wilton, NH and Amy M. Kruse (Jason) of Murray; his grandchildren, Destiny Fredette and Austin Fredette; his great grandchild Dean; and his siblings, Mary Lou McLaughlin of Lexington, MA, Richard Barr (Phyllis) of San Diego, CA, Lawrence B. McLaughlin (Della) of Woburn, MA and William A. McLaughlin, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
