It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lyonel Mahoney of Plaistow, New Hampshire, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas J. Mahoney and Marie Mahoney (Fitzpatrick); his former life partner Patricia Mahoney (Curran); his wife Joan Mahoney (Foss); and his siblings, Robert Mahoney and Marie Mahoney West.

He is survived by : his brother Thomas Joseph Mahoney of Saugus, MA.; his daughter Maureen Matatall (William Matatall) of Danville, NH.; his grandchildren, William Patrick, Terence John, Kathleen Patricia Kazlas (Samuel Kazlas) and Thomas Brendan; his great grandchild Brucker William Kazlas; and his friend Bob McKenna.
