He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert R. Conkey Sr. and Irene Conkey (Avery); his wife Phyllis Conkey; his brother George Conkey; his son Bobby Conkey; and his sisters, Sylvia Latouche and Maxine Poitris.
He is survived by: his siblings, Albin Conkey, Arthur Conkey, Raymond Conkey, John Conkey and Emiline Niles; his half-brother Leslie Nichols; and his children, Al Conkey and Nancy Smith. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
