He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Rainwater and James D. Rainwater; his sister Carol McGarrity; his brother-in-law Michael; his nephew Jody McGarrity; and his brother-in-law Brad Knudson.
He is survived by: his son Will Rainwater; his daughter-in-law Erin; his grandson Owen; his siblings-in-law, Cal, Ruth Knudson and Marie Knudson; and his sibling's children, Christina Colantuoni, Shawnee Rutherford, Emily Shuttleworth and David Knudson. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
