It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Jane Varney in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Mark Varney and Rita Varney (Holton); her children, Zhanay Matthews, Anthony Cornett and Kaytlyn Cornett; her grandson Henry Cornett; her siblings, Paul Varney and Elean Varney; and her niece Danica Varney.

In lieu of flowers, there will be a donation box at the Legion to help the family with the expenses of the funeral.
