She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Julio Fubini and Valeria Fubini; her husband Mario; her sister Anna; her son-in-law Sherwood Spelke; her daughters, Paula Sonnino (Michael Sterling) and Laura Spelke; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Spelke (Amy), Jessica Jansujwicz (Alan), Danny Sterling, Peter and Wendy Sterling. She was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
