He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Mercer; and his siblings, Phyllis Dow, Marie Boise and Atwell Mercer. He is survived by: his parent Esther Mercer; his wife Carol Mercer of Rochester, NH.; his sister Ruth Mercer Pelley-Dusseault; and his children, David Mercer of Hudson, MA., Laura McBride of Bend, OR., Robert Mercer of Pittsfield, MA., Deborah Fafard of Uxbridge, MA., Cindy Tober of Millville, MA, James Mercer of Millville, MA. and Betty Mercer of Uxbridge, MA.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
