He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Shapleigh and Eunice C. (Cole); and his sister Christine Bilodeau (Shapleigh). He is survived by: his pets, French and Happy Meals; his wife Sheila A. Shapleigh (Robinson); his brother Richard W. Shapleigh, Sr.; his daughters, Leslie Jackson, Jennifer Shapleigh and Cydney Shapleigh; his grandchildren, Jonathan Douglas (Ashley), Caitlin Wentworth (Ryan), Andrew Jackson, Timothy Douglas and Matthew Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Harley Hook, Austin Douglas and Brandon Douglas. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews; along with his many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shriners.
