He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Doane and Martha Doane (Ernie); his children, Tina Frost (Marc Lefebvre) of Rochester, Stacey Doane-Bubar (John) of Rochester and Matthew Doane of Rochester; his sisters, Darlene Bean of Wakefield and Brenda Leigh of Shakopee Minnesota; his grandchildren, Heather Leigh, Joshua Cullen of Rochester and Gavin Doane of Rochester; his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Isaiah; and his brother Barry Doane.
Russell made regular donations to New Hampshire Veterans and the American Legion.
