Thayer D. Wade Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2019, at the age of 92, Thayer D. Wade (Rochester, New Hampshire) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thayer D. Wade to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman F Wade and Margaret Wade (McLaren); his wife Janet; his children, Steven Wade (Patti) of Concord, NH, Mollie, Greggory (Karolina) of Boston and Briand Wade; his wife Rhonda of Rye, NH; his children, Gretchen, Annie, Sarah, Margaret Wade, Tyler Jappe, Alex Jappe and Kirby Brown (Matt); his grandson Charles Brown; and his children, Peter Wade (Lisa) of Chichester, NH, Amanda, Abigail, Anna, Aili, Geoffrey Wade (Meg) of Needham, MA, Thayer, Elizabeth and Patrick. He was also cherished by children at cottages they built on Sleepers Island on Lake Winnipesaukee, where there was always swimming, sailing, boat rides to Wolfeboro for ice cream, hiking, Dad's great barbecued hamburgers and hotdogs, while at the same time refinishing antique boats, and the seemingly constantly repairing docks and moorings each spring from ice damage, work he did himself with the help of his sons and daughter.
