He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Patton and Patricia Patton (Douglas); and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his close friend Steve Bottomley; his sister Karen Washburn (Tom) of Scituate, MA; his siblings' children, Kaitlynn, Sydney and Lexi; his brother Sandy Patton of Alta, CA; and his siblings' children, Michelle, Andrew and Natalie. He is also survived by many friends and his remaining family members.
