He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Jaeger Smith; and his parents, Ottis Smith and Pearl Smith (McKechnie). He is survived by: his daughters, Dana McCluskey (John) of Framingham, MA and Martha Conti (John) of Medfield, MA; and his grandchildren, Kate, Meghan, Christina and Ryan.
