He was predeceased by: his sister Jennifer Dowgiert. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Dowgiert and Patricia Dowgiert (Koza) of Salem, NH.; his brothers, Joseph Dowgiert (Casey) of Salem, NH and Thomas Dowgiert (Angela Fan) of Brookline, MA; and his nieces, Lilah Dowgiert and Emma Dowgiert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emma Dowgiert's Trust Fund.
