He was predeceased by: his wife Madeleine Lombardo; his parents, Archie Carano and Adeline Sauline Carano; his daughter Lynn Carano; and his brother Robert Carano.
He is survived by: his children, Lori (Christopher Dow), Lane Carano, Michael Carano (Barbara Carano), Jeff Carano (Kathy Carano) and Patrick Carano; and his sister Dorothy Brown of Youngstown. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
