He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James and Rita (McDonough); his cousin Charlie Breen; his sister Kathy (Leo Sayer) of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Tim (Aly), Matt Groch, Mary (Justin Engelbert), Meghan (Matt Bagdovitz), Lauren, Ryan, Sean, Kaleigh (Kara) and Dylan Carney; and his great grandchildren, Connor Bagdovitz and Asher Groch.
