She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lavallee and Jeanne Lavallee (Dufond); her husband Emile Desharnais; her children, Rodger, Rene Desharnais and Elaine Byron; her son-in-law James Byron; and her siblings, Jeanette Gallagher (Laurence), Loretta Cox (Russell), Louis Lavallee (Anna) and Eugene Lavallee (Marion).
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Phyllis Desharnais and Linda Desharnais; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Porier, Erica Gunn, John Desharnais, David Desharnais, Lisa Ireson, Kelley Williams, Dennis Desharnais, Kimberly Papik, Marie Desharnais, Judith Trienti and James Byron. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
