It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy J. Fernie of Swanzey, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis V. Thompson Sr. and Elsie Thompson (Lounder) of Keene; her former husbands, Cleo Olmstead of Keene and John F. Boyle of Keene; her daughter Catherine; her brother Rodney Thompson; her son John F. Olmstead; her grandson David Olmstead; her son Michael J. Boyle; her son-in-law Robert L. Miles; and her grandson Robert L. Miles II.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Fernie; her brother Francis V. Thompson Jr. (Butch) of Westport; and her children, Edward J. Olmstead (Myrlene) of Leander, TX, Ross A. Boyle (Kim) of Swanzey Center and Kathleen D. Miles of Keene. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
