He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chester Everett Long of Claremont, NH and Ethel Olive Merrill of Sutton, NH; his wife Viola Long of Swanzey, NH; his stepson Robert Pierce of Westmoreland, NH; his daughter Donna Poges (Roy Jache) of Danbury, NH; his grandchildren, Damian Poges (Melinda Dassing) of Concord, NH, Monika Poges of Basalt, CO and Jeremy Poges (Stephanie) of Keene, NH.; his great grandchildren, Candy Pierce of Keene, NH, Kody Poges of Loudon, NH, Trevor Poges of Loudon, NH, Zoe Elliott of Concord, NH, Leevi Elliott of Concord, NH and Sky Poges of Concord, NH.; his sister Barbara Wendler of Santa Fe; and his niece Carol Wendler of Santa Fe.
All those in attendance are required to wear masks and practice safe physical distancing.
