He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Brooks Pease (Murray) and George C. Brooks; and his pets, Shadow, Randall, Skeleton, Friendly Giant and Richmond Selectman.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis A. Brooks of Richmond; and his children, Stacey A. Brooks (Rafi Landau) of Rye, NH, George C. Brooks (Mary Kay) of Roswell, GA, Eric E. Brooks (Diane) of South Weymouth, MA, Kelley L. Brooks of Somerville, MA, Heather E. Brooks (Thomas Driscoll) of Portsmouth, NH. and Philip Sherrick of Jacksonville, FL.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Roger and Phyllis Brooks Scholarship fund for graduating MRHS seniors.
