Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roger Sheridan Adams of Westmoreland, New Hampshire, who passed away at the age of 89, on May 19, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Adams and Lois Adams (Goodale); his brother David Adams; and his niece Sara Adams Houghton. He is survived by: his friend Teddy Ferguson; his wife Ellie Adams of Westmoreland; his brother Gordon Adams of Chattanooga, TN; his children, Paula Chandler (Alan) of Lempster, Stuart Adams (Robyne) of Westmoreland and Hope McGill (Ken) of Walpole; his grandchildren, Melissa McKane (Kevin Baldwin), Alisha Adams Powell (Kevin), Chad Adams, Molly Lepisto, Megan Wright, Mark McGill (Kelly), Lindsey Sliva (Jamey), Elizabeth McGill (David Gibson), Sabrina Croteau (Seth), Franchesca Adams (Ben Mallet), Garrett Adams (Laura), Nathan Adams (Suzanne), Chad Chandler (Mary), Kaitlyn Chandler and Christina Chandler (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Talin, Brynna, Joely, Amorielle, Joscelyn, Noah, Mason, McKenna, Malachi, Maveric, Mira, Caleb, Hannah, Jillian, Ellie, Emeline, Paisley and Blake. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cheshire Family Funeral Home and Chapel (44 Maple Ave, Keene, NH 03431-1628). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sturtevant Chapel (15 Washington Ave, Keene, NH 03431). A burial was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Sugar House (31 NH-63, Westmoreland, NH 03467).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor would be encouraged to Sturtevant Chapel and the Keene Community Kitchen.
