He is survived by: his parents, William G. and Helen A. (Schofield); his spouse Elaine E. Spencer; his brother-in-law Al Vater; his nieces, Carol Vater Merchant and Susan Vater Shadford; his daughter Lynn Hughes Berger; his husband Bruce Hughes of Wolfeboro; his son Bob Hughes; his grandchildren, Dana and Jen of Wolfeboro; his sister Lois Vater of Wolfeboro; and also, Lois and Barbara Hughes of Los Angeles, CA.
In lieu of flowers, Don would love to have any donations go to the "Resident's Activity Fund" at Mountain View Nursing Home of Ossipee, New Hampshire.
