She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Albert Wales, Jr. and Ethel Beach Wales of Stratford, Connecticut.; her husband Gordon Douglas Swaffield; her children, Carol Ridlon (Reggie), Bill Swaffield (Becky) of Wolfeboro and Holly Swaffield of Breckenridge; her grandchildren, Lisa Ridlon, Laura Ridlon Gebhart, Willie Swaffield and Whitney Swaffield Walker; her great grandchildren, Emma, Evan Gebhart, Hazel and June Walker; and her granddaughter Hilary Swaffield.
