He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert Abbamondi, Sr. and Rose Abbamondi; his son Michael Abbamondi; his grandson Ian Michael McCann; and his son-in-law Paul McCann.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Abbamondi; and his children, Al Abbamondi, Ken Abbamondi (Kaye), Kathy Berks (Bill), Patricia McCann, Gina Abbamondi and Gary Abbamondi (Barbara Ann). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
