With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Esther Nunez of Atlantic City, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Francisco Nunez; her husband Samuel Woody; her mother Virginia Ramos Nunez (Ramos); and her siblings, Jose, Hermino, Jamie, Angel Luis, Carmen, Alejandria, Norma, Luz, Ana Nunez and Ada Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Christina Roman-Nieves (Ariel) and Gabriel Joseph Nunez; her siblings, Francisco (Iraida), Virgilio (Virginia), Gladys and Migdalia "Mindy" Nunez; her grandchildren, Adrianna, Julianna Roman, Iliama Jermiah, Camile and Camila Nunez; and her nephew Steve Santigo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenidge Funeral Homes, Inc. (301 Absecon Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (5061 Harding Hwy, Mays Landing, NJ 08330).
